Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi cancelled his visit to Aizawl today in view of the ongoing Assembly session in Mizoram.
Media reports quoted Thanglawra Ngurte, a member of the state PCC Media Cell, as saying that since state assembly session had begun on Tuesday, it was decided to postpone the visit of the Congress vice president to another date.
Gandhi was scheduled to address an election rally in Aizawl's Mualpui locality, and also scheduled to meet journalists at the Lengpui Airport, which is near Aizawl.
