Rahul Gandhi takes train to Punjab to assess farmers' plight

Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi left for Punjab by train on Tuesday took assess the plight of farmers'.

"I am going to Punjab to look at the situation of farmers, want to analyze the ground situation," Rahul Gandhi told reporters at New Delhi railway station.

He further stated, "The government is trying to snatch the land of farmers. This is wrong. We are going to counter it."

Rahul is expected to reach Mandi Gobindgarh via Ambala, Haryana.
