Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Singh Kataria on Friday confirmed that the bus mishap that took place in near Tonk in the state has seen heavy loss of life.
"I was in a meeting when I was told of the incident. A high tension wire had fallen and a vehicle came in contact with it. There has been heavy loss of life: as per reports, around 35 people have been killed. I will be rushing there soon," Kataria told the media.
Earlier in the day, a bus carrying a wedding party met with disaster when a high tension wire fell on the vehicle on the outskirts of Tonk in Rajasthan.
