Rajkummar Rao always tries to do something different every time fans see him on the big screen. The versatile actor is known to bring authenticity to his roles making it appear interesting and real.
For his character in his forthcoming film, 'Fanney Khan', also featuring Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the versatile actor had lost approximately 10 kgs.
Riding high on the success of his latest release, Newton (being selected as India's official entry to the Oscars 2018), Rajkummar has been following a strict diet to lose extra kilos that he had to gain to portray the role of Subhash Chandra Bose in his upcoming web series, ALTBalaji's 'Bose'.
When asked about how did he acheive this feat and Rao said, "I always knew I would have to lose a lot of weight post the shooting of Bose. It was not an easy task. I was following a strict diet and also working out a lot."
During the promotions of 'Newton', the talented actor started losing weight and was following rigorous diet. Rajkummar, who is known to get into the skin of his characters, has already lost around 10 kgs in a month's time and people are amazed to see his transformation in such less time.
?Rajkummar added, "I'm glad that the transformation has happened. I'm almost back to my normal self. I believe in being fit and it has always been my mantra, but I'll do whatever my character demands.
