Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will chair a meeting of the Central Zonal Council on Security here today.
Issues likely to be raised and discussed during the meeting will include center-state ties,development of road and air infrastructure, combating Naxal menace and promotion of child welfare.
Home Ministry officials said chief ministers of four states-Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand-will attend the 20th meeting of the council along with other senior representatives of the four states.
Singh will also attend the convocation function of Lucknow University.
