Ranbir Kapoor, who is playing the role of a travel videographer in his upcoming film- 'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani', revealed some of his travel secrets while promoting the film in Mumbai.
Talking to media persons, Kapoor discussed about his experiences of playing a travel videographer, saying that travel is a way of experiencing life.
"Somebody, who is a videographer in a travel show, what he really has to do is experience life, see experiences, different cultures, people, how they are, go in the heart of the city and I think that's how we all should travel," he said.
The 'Barfi' star also said that traveling does not only means visiting places but also interacting with people and experiencing their food and lifestyle.
"Not just do the tourist thing like go to a museum or bridge or all that is cliched generic stuff. If you really go to the heart of the city and interact with the people and the food and have dinners with them, have local food. So I think that's all is really important for all of us when we travel," Kapoor explained.
The actor also spoke about his favorite dishes that he orders while traveling.
"There are two things which I always order, Butter Chicken and Kali Dal and if I have had lot of butter chicken then I go for Tanduri chicken leg piece. Tadka Dal, Kali Dal, Alloo Jeera or Bhindi and I eat garlic parathan, or butter parathan along with it. And if I feel like having English food then I go for Burger," he said.
When asked if he likes traveling alone, he replied that he loves being alone even at restaurants, or while shopping or watching movies and is comfortable with himself.
Talking about his favorite romantic destinations, the 30-year-old actor said that romance can happen anywhere, any time.
"I just think you just need to be a Romantic person, you have to be in love with the person you are with, so where ever you go, romance can happen any where," the actor added.
The movie, that also stars Kapoor's former girlfriend Deepika Padukone, is set to release on 31st may.
