An upstart rapper from Brooklyn was arrested on May 26 after surveillance footage showed him opening fire backstage during a T.I. concert, killing one and wounding two others.
According to the cops, Roland Collins aka Troy Ave, will face charges of attempted murder and illegal weapon possession, reports Channel24.
An eight-second video clip, released by the police, shows the gunman bursting through the door of a VIP room in apparent pursuit of another man, who flees off-screen.
The video further shows, as concertgoers huddle under a counter and clutch each other, the gunman, who appears to be limping, stops and scans the room for a moment with his eyes. Then, he spots something, raises his gun and fires.
Four people were shot, one fatally, when a fight started on May 25 night in a performers' lounge at a concert hall where the star rapper T.I. was scheduled to perform.
As per the police, the 33-year-old rapper suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
