'Ravishing' Deepika Padukone turns showstopper for Anju Modi

Bollywood A-lister Deepika Padukone turned showstopper for Anju Modi to present a fusion of rich legacy on the opening of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2015.

The 11th edition of Blenders Pride Fashion Tour 2015 commenced in Gurgaon, presenting a transcending collaboration of creative inspirations and fine influences.

The 29-year-old actress walked the ramp in her original outfit from the ambitious song 'Deewani Mastani' and brought alive the spirit of Mastani, a multi-faceted woman with progressive attributes.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Raja Banerji, Assistant Vice President, Pernod Ricard India, said, "The association with 'Bajirao Mastani' is to create experiences and memories which stay with the audience, like all good things in life. Anju Modi's collection for 'Bajirao Mastani' captured the atmosphere with its sheer brilliance as models came forth on the ramp, with ensembles that highlighted marked influences of the traditional Marathi outfits, authentic Persian costumes.

This year, the audiences witnessed a collaboration never seen before when the song 'Deewani Mastani' from the much awaited film 'Bajirao Mastani' unveiled its style at the event.
