McLaren driver Jenson Button could be partnering Sebastian Vettel at Red Bull for the next season after boss Christian Horner did not rule out a move for the 2009 champion.
According to the Mirror, Horner has been a long-time admirer of Button because he brings a competitive edge without the friction associated with Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton.
On Thursday, Red Bull seemed to delay a decision to announce Daniel Ricciardo's graduation from Red Bull B-team Toro Rosso to partner the German in place of the leaving Mark Webber, the report said.
Horner said that the team had to make sure they consider all the options and there were more options than people thought.
