The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) on Thursday warned Pakistan to refrain from its ongoing misadventures on Indian soil if it wanted to survive as a nation.

JKNPP leader Harsh Dev Singh told ANI, "Pakistan has been indulging in warmongering and stroking war frenzy. This could be disastrous for Pakistan. We feel that such an attitude would be suicidal for Pakistan. We feel that Pakistan's misadventures need to be taken cognizance of by International community and Pakistan would also be battered if it fails to refrain from such misadventures, if it wants to live and survive as a nation."

Singh further said that Pakistan has engaged itself in military exercises on the border which are supervised and monitored by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.

"Pakistan has been indulging in unprovoked firing on our borders for quite some time now and it has engaged itself in military exercises on the borders adjoining Punjab. These military exercises are being supervised and monitored by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the army chief who are closely watching and supervising all this developments."

Earlier in the day, one policeman of the Special Operation Group was killed after gunfight broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Marwal forests in Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore district.
