The Renault-Nissan alliance on Thursday announced the appointment of Jayakumar David as Alliance HR Director, India, effective November 1.
In his new role, David will be responsible for all the Alliance HR operations in India, ensuring optimum effectiveness, while driving efficiencies of HR delivery to strengthen the Renault-Nissan synergies in India.
"We are pleased to welcome Jayakumar David in his new role and extend our full support to him in successfully executing his mandate, as we aspire to strengthen the Renault-Nissan Alliance in India. At the same time, we are grateful to Christophe Dalby who has been instrumental in implementing and developing the Alliance HR in India for the past four years, and will now move to the headquarters," said Alliance Global Director HR, Africa-Middle East-India (AMI) Region, Dominique Dumoulin.
"The Renault-Nissan Alliance will continue to grow its presence in India, fostering and nurturing the best talent," added Dumoulin.
David currently serves as Vice-President HR RNTBCI (Renault Nissan Technology and Business Centre India) and will continue with this role as well.
A post-graduate in Human Resources Management from Madras University, David comes with rich experience in Human Resources spanning over 24 years.
He has worked with organizations like Kennametal India Pvt. Ltd., Siemens Technology and Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Hindustan Coca-Cola beverages Pvt Ltd. and joined RNTBCI in September 2016.
