The iconic Peter Pan outfit, which was worn by Robin Williams in Disney's 'Hook', was listed on eBay with a starting bid of 10,000 pounds within minutes after the news of his suicide broke.
The costume, which featured in the 1991 film, was described as the 'hero' outfit by the eBay user 'tvandfilmpropsdottcom' and has also been claimed to be the 'only known one in existence', Metro.co.uk reported.
The user also promises to post the receipt for the outfit, which is described as 'Robin Williams HERO Peter Pan worn costume from HOOK 1991 screen used movie prop', and described the outfit as being 'in fine screen used condition'.
The bid is due to end on September 11, while the user's message says that costume originally was sold in Sothebys in 1997, only 6 years after the film was released for just under 4,000 pounds and the winning buyer shall be provided with copy of Sothebys receipt.
