Sadhana Ji was an asset, says PeeCee

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra recently paid tribute to the veteran actress Sadhana Shivdasani, who passed away yesterday in Mumbai.

Talking about the tragic incident, the 33-year-old actress said, "Whenever an artist dies around the world, I think an artist can never die, because they live in the memories of people who are left behind."

She added, "Sadhana ji will be remembered for her impactful roles, for her Sadhana cut. I remember my mother used to take me to get one done when I was 7 or 8, for her style and for her feminine factor."

Priyanka further said, "I think she was an asset. Life ends, but an artist never ends."

Meanwhile, many Bollywood celebrities took to their Twitter handle and mourned about the death of the 74-year-old actress.

Lata Mangeshkar tweeted, "Mujhe abhi pata chala ki meri pasandida abhinetri Sadhana ji ka aaj swargwas hua. Ye sunke mujhe bahut dukh (cont)"

Director Karan Johar wrote, "RIP Sadhana aunty...Your legacy of beauty,poise and utmost grace....will live on forever..."

Actress Shruti Hassan tweeted, "Sadhanaji one of the most incredible and graceful women,thank you so much for the memories and advice love you and miss you :(:("

Other actors included Rishi Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Kunal Kohli and director Madhur Bhandarkar.
