Samsung has reportedly launched Pro models to its line of Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note tablets.
The South Korean company rolled out Galaxy TabPro and NotePro tablets, including 12.2-inch models that are focused on multitasking and productivity.
According to The Verge, the Galaxy TabPro would be available in three sizes from 8.4-inch to 12.2-inch, the Galaxy NotePro model would be available in the 12.2-inch size.
The tablets would include 2560 x 1600 pixel displays, run on Android 4.4 KitKat, with Wi-Fi and LTE options, and 8-megapixel rear cameras as well as 2-megapixel front cameras.
The 12.2-inch sized TabPro and NotePro models feature new four-pane multiwindow multitasking, while all of smaller sized tablets offer multiple layered pop-up windows for multitasking.
The latest tablets, measuring under 8mm thickness include Samsung's new home screen layout called Magazine UI that offers tiles of apps and information, similar to Windows 8.1 format that users can customize and configure.
Although, both the TabPro and NotePro models are similar in processors and other features, the only difference between the two is support for Samsung's S Pen stylus.
The latest tablets are expected to hit the shelves this quarter, the report added.
