Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed about her incredibly personal touch in her new shoe line, which was developed with the CEO of Manolo Blahnik.
Parker said that things weren't always quite so glamorous for her. Her memories of growing up on a tight budget played into the refined shoe designs, which have names like "Maud" and "Tanny," People magazine reported.
The 48-year-old actress explained that during her childhood, when they didn't have two nickels to rub together, her mother always made sure that she along with her sisters had two grosgrain ribbons in their hair.
The 'Sex and the City' star said that the rule was that they ironed them every single morning and they even had a special bureau dedicated to hair ribbons.
Parker claimed that the grosgrain ribbons make SJP's really identifiable to others and really personal to her.
