Schedulers Logistics India founder gets "Cold Chain Personality of the Year" award

Schedulers Logistics India Founder and COO Akshay Sharma has been was awarded the prestigious "Cold Chain Personality of the Year " award at 'Cold Chain Industry Awards' presented by Future Supply Chain, part of the 4th Cold Chain Strategy Summit held in Mumbai recently.

Expressing his delight over the award, Sharma said, "The award comes as an honour and a challenge. With the cold chain market in India is expected to grow at a brisk pace, and the total food production in India expected to double in the next 10 years. This offers opportunities for consolidation and professionalization."

With significant investments in food and food processing technologies, skills and equipment, especially in areas of canning, dairy and food processing, specialty processing, packaging, frozen food/refrigeration and thermo processing, fruits and vegetables, fisheries, meat and poultry, packaged/ convenience foods, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks and grains.

Sharma, a hotel management graduate by training, is a pioneer in the Indian cold chain industry. He has had the good fortune of working with major Logistics and retail companies before embarking on a path as an entrepreneur and founder by establishing Schedulers Logistics, a nice cold chain logistics solutions provider. He is currently the COO of the company.
