Uber has reportedly revised its rules to prohibit passengers and drivers from carrying firearms while using the service.
The changes published on the taxi-hailing service's website said that Uber and its affiliates prohibit "possessing firearms of any kind in a vehicle." It added that those found violating the rule 'may' lose access to the firm's services, reported The Verge.
The company said that the move was aimed at ensuring that everyone using the digital platform felt safe and comfortable using the service.
