Michael Schumacher's manager has revealed that the Formula One legend wanted to vanish from public attention months before his tragic skiing accident.
Sabine Kehm said that the Schumacher had expressed his wish to disappear from the media spotlight during a lengthy conversation with the German, news.com.au reported.
She added that it was for the same reason that both she and Schumacher's family have remained tight-lipped about his current condition.
Schumacher, who has a record 91-race wins, has been going through his painfully slow recovery at his Swiss lakeside home after being injured while skiing during a French Alps vacation.
