Football manager Barry Fry helped Scotland striker Craig Mackail-Smith deliver his girlfriend Amber Fry's baby after the manager's daughter went into labour at home.
According to the Mirror, Fry gave birth at the couple's home in Warninglid near Horsham, West Sussex and Mackail-Smith said that it was the best thing he had ever done.
The striker even joked Fry could have been a goalkeeper with the way he caught the baby, adding that he had never seen him move so fast, the report said.
Amber had been watching the gripping England v Scotland match on Wednesday with her father as Craig returned home from training and her striker partner could have been playing in the game and missed the birth were it not for an Achilles injury, the report added.
