The security personnel have made tight security arrangements for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi's 'Vijay Sankalp' rally in Ranchi today.
According to television reports, heavy security arrangements are in place for the rally, to be held on the grounds of Prabhat Tara School.
The Gujarat Chief Minister Modi will arrive near the venue in a helicopter from the Birsa Munda airport. He will also return by the chopper.
Barricades have been set up and metal detectors have installed to ensure thorough security check. The grounds will be monitored with CCTVs.
Police have also heightened vigil at Ranchi and Hatia railway stations.
