Security forces in Israel have foiled Hamas members' plan to assassinate the country's foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman, said an intelligence agency.
According to the Independent, the agency Shin Bet said that three Palestinians from the Bethlehem planned to kill the minister by opening fire on his vehicle.
Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri said that he did not have specific information about the case.
The intelligence agency also announced the names of the three suspected Hamas members Ibrahim Zir, 37, the head of the cell who had served time in prison for Hamas military activities, his brother Ziyad, 35 and a third man, Adnan Zabih.
Meanwhile, there were clashed in the north, south and central parts of the occupied West Bank.
