The security forces foiled a major infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Tangdhar sector of Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district.
As per reports, the operation is still in progress.
This comes as two of the terrorists, holed up in a government building at Pampore on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, have been killed.
While one terrorist was killed yesterday, another was neutralised today during the operation to flush out terrorists holed up in the Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI) since Sunday.
The security forces resumed their operation this morning after being suspended late last night due to darkness.
