Shahbaz Sharif formally nominated for Pak Punjab CM

The parliamentary committee of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has formally nominated Shahbaz Sharif for the position of chief minister of Punjab province.

Sharif, while addressing the PML-N meeting, thanked the committee for nominating him and giving him another chance to serve the people, reports The Express Tribune.

The PML-N nominated the incumbent Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan for speaker while a young party member from south Punjab, Sardar Sher Ali Gorchani, has been nominated for deputy speaker.
