Celebrity break-ups are not something unusual and an ugly spat after calling it quits is almost inevitable.
But our own Captain America, Chris Evans continues to prove that he is a real superhero with the bond he shares with his ex-girlfriend Jenny Slate.
As reported by PEOPLE magazine, the two exes reunited on the red carpet for photos, smiling as they stood side-by-side at premiere of their new film 'Gifted'.
The 35 year-old-actor spoke to PEOPLE and said, "She's the best. I've never ever met someone in my life who has a mastery of the English language the way she does. She'll give you one sentence and there's no fat to it. You're like, 'You just chose such an unbelievable collection of words that beautifully articulate what you say'."
He also said that talking to her is like 'a form of art' and believes that 'there's nothing to not love about her'.
"It's like an art form talking with her because the visuals associated with her expression are just so colorful. She's so vulnerable, so honest, so interested in other people more than herself, she's incredibly compassionate, there's just nothing to not love about her."
Evans and Slate, both 35, met while filming 'Gifted' and they made their red-carpet debut together at the premiere for 'The Secret Life of Pets' last summer.
Both will be seen together in Mark Webb's 'Gifted'.
On a related note, Chris evans will be next seen in Marvel's superhero flick 'Avengers: Infinity Wars,' alongside Robert Downey Jr, Benedict Cumberbatch Scarlet Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.
The flick is slated to release on May 4, 2018.
