Sheena Bora murder: Accused to be produced in Alipore court tomorrow
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Kolkata on Wednesday said that Indrani Mukherjee's former husband Sanjeev Khanna will be produced before Alipore court tomorrow, in connection with Sheena Bora murder case.
"Mumbai police approached us to help them arrest accused Khanna. Accordingly a team was formed and with the input given, the accused was arrested," DCP told ANI.
In a major twist to the murder case, it was revealed that the deceased, who was allegedly murdered by Indrani, was her daughter and not her sister.
43-year-old Indrani was arrested yesterday from her Mumbai residence after her driver confessed that he had killed Sheena in 2012 following his employer's orders.
Indrani, who was charged of murdering her daughter and disposing off her body, will stay in police custody till August 31.
