Welsh singer Shirley Bassey has slammed Rihanna's Met Ball dazzling gown saying that modern singers should wear more clothes and concentrate on singing better.
The 78-year-old songstress, whose career has spanned 60 years, asserted that it was like they were all in competition with each other for who could wear the skimpiest outfit, the Mirror reported.
Bassey, who is best known for recording the theme songs to the James Bond films, continued that these girls were talented singers and they did not need that but they feel they did.
Bassey's remarks came after story featured a parent's plea for pop stars to stop dressing like porn stars.
