A passenger travelling in a train last month is allegedly suspected for hurling racist slurs at a fellow passenger following a footage posted on YouTube.
The British police asked the passenger Darren Daly to 'do the right thing' and hand over himself to them for inquiry over his 'grotesque racist insults', the Mirror reports.
The YouTube footage showed a man touting another passenger as a 'monkey' and a 'gorilla' and threatening him violently with a beer bottle in hand.
Daly is suspected to be the man who had abused the other passenger saying that he does not like to be awakened rudely by a mongrel, while asserting that he is not a racist during the 46-second tirade.
The police suspect that Daly is the man who has committed the racially aggravated offence and have appealed for witnesses to the incident on the train near Brighton.
BTP's Inspector Gary Ancell said that they have we have visited four addresses over the past few days in a bid to trace Daly but have not been successful.
However, the police are continuing with its investigation by looking to procure CCTV footages and circulating information across police intelligence systems.
