The Shopian Police has arrested three accused on Tuesday involved in the attempt of bank robbery and weapon snatching that took place earlier at Jammu and Kashmir Bank of Imam Sahab area.
By arresting these three accused, the Shopian Police has foiled their plans to join militant ranks.
The incident had taken place on May 25 and an FIR under section 392, 511 RPC and 13 ULA (P) act was registered in the Shopian Police Station.
The trio had a plan of joining the militant ranks, upon successful completion of their attempt.
The Shopian Police solved the case by arresting three persons identified as Aqib Malla and Sabzar Khanday residents of Hillow and Aqib Malla resident of Trenz.
Further investigation into the case is on.
