Veteran journalist and political analyst Ved Pratap Vaidik said Tuesday that showing only a few clips of his interview with 26/11 terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed is low journalism.

Ved Pratap Vaidik said, "I contacted Dinesh Sharma, who is famous nationwide and is a very good anchor. He did the interview and was published as well. Millions of people saw it and the people started talking after that."

"I released the photo and interview myself. TV channels and newspapers have already talked so much about it. There is nothing to hide about it," he added.

Clearing the air on interview video clips shown by TV channels, he exclusively told ANI, "In order to increase the TRP, some TV channels are showing just a part of my interview and not the entire video. I had to scold one of the TV channels, to which their reply came that we don't have the complete video. Such cheap and low journalism should not be practiced."

"Congress is taking up this issue so as to target the Modi government and not me. They are creating a connection between Modi-Ramdev-Vaidik. I have met people who are even more dangerous than Saeed," he added.

Ved Pratap Vaidik met Lashkar-e-Taiba (let) chief, Hafiz Mohammad Saeed on July 2 in Pakistan sparking a controversy after his pictures with the Pakistani Islamist leader emerged on social media.
