Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), which claims to be a non-profit organization, has announced plans to organize demonstrations during Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's five-day visit to the United States from September 26 to September 30.

According to reports, the SFJ has joined hands with Washington-based Dr. Amarjeet Singh of the Khalistan Affairs Centre (KAC) to organize the demonstrations in New York and Washington simultaneously during Prime Minister Modi's forthcoming visit.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, Legal Advisor to the SFJ, has warned that they would picket the White House on September 30, 2014 to register protest against Obama administration's invitation to Prime Minister Modi.

The SFJ claims that it is seeking justice for the victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots. The group organizes 'justice rallies', 'genocide conferences', seminars, fund-raising events and uses every possible forum for carrying out pro-Khalistani and anti-India propaganda.

It has sought the intervention of the international community, the UN and international human rights organizations on behalf of religious minorities in India. The SFJ has been working to seek punishment of culprits responsible for 1984 anti-Sikh riots.

It has repeatedly claimed that accused leaders have not been punished till date because of political protection and has been raising funds in the name of helping families of Sikh victims of 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
