Simon Cowell had admitted on TV that he hadn't found "the one" just weeks before his pregnant gal-pal revealed she was pregnant with his child.
The 53-year old X Factor boss had made the comment while filming for the American version of his hit singing show, when a contestant told him that he still hadn't found the right girl, and Cowell empathized with him, the Daily Star reported.
The producers working on the American show later slipped in a message when the segment aired, that read- "This performance was previously recorded. "We are pleased to report that Mr. Cowell has indeed found the right girl".
The Syco boss recently hinted that he is set to marry the 36-year old New York socialite, Lauren Silverman, who is four months pregnant with a baby boy.
