Despite his reputation as the most ruthless reality show judge, Simon Cowell recently melted down before a 12-year-old 'America's Got Talent' hopeful, dubbing her as "the next Taylor Swift."
After the audition of Grace VanderWaal, aired on June 7, the 56-year-old reality show judge revealed that he thinks she will be the next big thing, reports News.com.au.
"Grace, you know what I predict for you? I think you are the next Taylor Swift," he said.
In front of a huge studio audience, VanderWaal auditioned for the reality show by playing her ukulele and singing an original song called 'I Don't Know My Name.'
After her performance, VanderWaal received a standing ovation from all of the judges before she was sent straight through to the live rounds.
