Sources revealed that the 36-year old New York socialite is interested in building on their relationship, but the 53-year old music mogul wants to maintain good terms with her and then see what develops, News.com.au reported.
Sources added that the Syco boss's former fiance Mezhgan Hussainy is still pining for him and Cowell was anxious about her presence at the UK premier of boyband One Direction's movie 'This Is Us'.
