Simon Cowell has confessed that he will play tapes of his own voice when his baby is asleep, so that the tot develops a British accent.

The 54-year-old music mogul jokingly said that he wants his baby's first words to be "Hello Simon" and not "Hi Simon", the Daily Star reported.

The 'X Factor' judge is hoping that playing such tapes will brainwash his baby into at least talking like a British, despite his mother Lauren Silverman being based in New York.
