Singer sues Beyonce for $3m for ripping off song

Beyonce has been sued by a singer named Ahmad Javon Lane for 3 million dollars after claiming that the singer copied his song 'XOXO'.

Lane has said that his song sounds very similar to 33-year-old songstress' track titled 'XO' , TMZ.com reported.

Lane added that he shared his song with another singer who did background vocals for Beyonce.
