Sir Elton John and David Furnish are reportedly planning their wedding after gay marriage got legalized in UK.
The 51-year-old British filmmaker wrote in Attitude magazine's Love and Marriage special that John and he will marry as a high-profile couple, as they feel it was their duty to do it, the Mirror reported.
Furnish said that as something of a showman, John was aware that whatever he says and does, people will sit up and take notice so there was no better way to celebrate that historic moment in time.
The pair is plotting their nuptials, eight years after they became one of the first gay couples in the UK to enter into a civil partnership in December 2005.
