The Patiala House Court on Thursday granted bail to singer Mika Singh in a case pertaining to allegedly slapping a doctor at a concert in the national capital in April, 2015.
Mika has been asked to furnish a personal bond of Rs. 20,000 and a surety of like amount.
Last year, Mika was booked for allegedly slapping a doctor at a live concert in south west Delhi. The Delhi Police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against him at Inderpuri Police Station even as a video of the alleged incident appeared on some websites.
It is reported that the victim Shrikant, an ophthalmologist posted at Ambedkar Hospital, had suffered some internal injury inside his left ear due to the assault.
The police had registered case against Mika under Sections 323, 341, 34 of the IPC.
