Skipper Steve Smith's impressive knock of 70 runs helped Australia clinch a 64-run triumph over England in the second one day international of five-match series here at Lord's on Saturday.
Replying to Australia's target of 309 runs, the hosts were bundled out in 42.3 overs after scoring 245 runs.
England Skipper Eoin Morgan failed to score his ninth ODI century, as he was dismissed by Pat Cummins after scoring 85 runs.
While, opener Jason Roy and Alex Hales got dismissed for 31 and 18 respectively.
Pat Cummins turned out to be the star bowler for the visitors as he claimed four wickets for 56.
Glenn Maxwell scalped two wickets while Mitchell Marsh, Mitchell Starc and Nathan Coulter-Nile took a wicket each.
Mitchell Marsh was adjudged as 'man of the match' for his significant contribution with both bat and bowl.
The two sides will next lock horns at Old Trafford on September 8.
