Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Saturday interacted with the farmers affected by unseasonal rains in her Lok Sabha constituency, Rae Bareli.
The Congress president also met the family members of the farmers and visited their farmlands.
"We told her (Sonia Gandhi) about our problems, she saw the damaged crops," said Sohan Lal, one of the villagers.
Sonia had earlier met farmers of Khandwa village in Haryana's Bhiwani District, who were facing similar issues.
She is also likely to meet the victims of the Bachhrawan train accident today.
