Sophia Lauren has finally revealed that the photo taken at the Hollywood studded party 57 years ago of her side eyeing Jayne Mansfield was because the sex symbol had been wearing a dress that nearly showed her nipples.
The 80-year-old actress said that Paramount had organized a party for her where she happened to sit next to Jayne Mansfield, the last one to come, Us magazine reported.
In the pic Loren is seen cautiously staring over at Mansfield's dangerously low-cut dress, which barely covers her cleavage.
The brunette beauty said that as the photo reveals she had been frightened that her nipples might fall onto her plate or on the table.
Loren has agreed that though the two shared some laughs together that evening, but she was unable to pry her eyes way from Mansfield's risque ensemble.
The beautiful actress has recently released her new memoir Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow: My Life (named after her 1963 romantic comedy of the same title).
