Six South Korean women's soccer league clubs have reportedly accused the tournament's top-scorer to be a man and have threatened to revolt.
The clubs have written to the authorities demanding that Seoul City striker Park Eun-Soen, who bagged 19 goals in 23 games last season, is subjected to a gender test - to prove she is not a man playing in the women's game.
According to Metro.co.uk, although the game's governing body Seoul Sports Council has turned down the request, the league is facing certain revolt over the issue.
The 26-year-old Park said that she has been left 'humiliated' by the affair, although she has vowed to carry on scoring goals.
The report mentioned that it is not the first time questions have been raised over Park's gender, with the forward having a test at the age of 15, although official results were not released.
