Investigators have revealed that the Porsche Carrera GT Paul Walker was traveling in had no mechanical problems and crashed due to high speed.
A police official revealed that the car lost control due to "speed, and speed alone", Sky News reported.
The officials investigating the crash have said that the exact speed of the car is unknown and three black boxes were recovered from the vehicle that will tell the last recorded speed, deployment of airbags, the throttle and engine readings.
The 'Fast and Furious' star died in the fatal crash, while traveling with a friend and the car hit a pole before bursting into flames.
