A small statue of Virgin Mary in Israel is attracting thousands of people after its Christian owner claimed that oil was coming out of the sculpture's eyes.
The Khoury family said that even though they had bought the figurine in 2013, they recently saw that it was weeping oil, adding that the phenomenon is a miracle, Sky News reported.
Osama Khoury said that his wife Amira was scared when she saw the oil, but their neighbour assured her that it was a blessing that had come into their house.
Meanwhile, Amira said that ever since she discovered the oil on the statue, she prays more.
The family added that over 2,000 people have come to the house to see the statue.
