Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is now reportedly just one goal short of a record after he scored his 30th Premier League goal of the season in the club's clash against Norwich City on Sunday.
Suarez has reportedly become the first Liverpool player to cross the 30-goal mark since Ian Rush in 1987.
According to Sport24, the Uruguayan international is now just one goal short of the record goal tally for a 38-game Premier League season, held jointly by both Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Suarez reached the milestone in the 11th minute during Liverpool's clash against Norwich City at Carrow Road, where he converted a left-wing cross from Raheem Sterling to scare his 12th goal in his last five appearances against the club, the report added.
