The price of subsidised cooking gas (LPG) has been hiked by Rs 1.93 per cylinder.
With this hike, a 14.2-kg subsidised LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 423.09 in Delhi as against Rs 421.16 previously.
The last price-hike of the LPG cylinder was on July 1 when the government had raised the price by Rs 1.98 per cylinder.
The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) yesterday reduced the price of petrol by Rs 1.42 per litre, while that of diesel by Rs 2.01 per litre.
After the reduction in price, the present price of petrol Rs 61.09 per litre in Delhi, with corresponding changes in the other states. The price of diesel in Delhi is Rs 52.27 per litre.
The price of petrol and diesel was last revised on July 15 in which the price of petrol was decreased by Rs 2.25 per litre while the price of diesel was slashed by Rs 0.42 per litre.
