Sushma Swaraj, Ajit Doval to accompany PM on Bhutan visit

Indian Foreign secretary, Sujatha Singh, said today that she, External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, and National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, will accompanyPrime Minister, Narendra Modi, on his Bhutan visit.

She said, "Bhutan is the first foreign country that the PM is visiting after being sworn in."

Singh said, "In Bhutan, Modi will be meeting his Majesty, the King of Bhutan, his majesty, the 4th Druk Gayalpo, and the Prime Minister of Bhutan."

She said, "Modi would also address a joint session of National Assembly and National Council of Bhutan and meet the Leader of the Opposition."

Singh said that our assistance package to the country amounts to Rs 4,500 crores for Bhutan's 11th Five Year Plan 2013-2018.
