Sushma Swaraj observes Karwa Chauth with fervour, gaiety

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Sunday celebrated Karva Chauth here at her residence along with other married women.

Sporting a red saree and enthralling jewellery, Swaraj performed all the rituals with devotion and broke her fast after offering prayers to the moon.

Karwa Chauth is a festival celebrated by married Hindu women, in which they fast from sunrise to moonrise for one day for the safety and longevity of their husbands.
