Force India driver Adrian Sutil has said that a healthy diet and some serious training is the reason why he is still one of the fastest drivers on the circuit and learning to conserve energy has kept him razor sharp.
In an interview with For Him Magazine, Sutil pointed out that he has been with Force India since the beginning and starting from the back of the grid, they have fought well to become a good team.
He said that Red Bull also took a lot of time before they started winning and Force India too, is getting there.
Sutil also talked about the controversy caused by the Pirelli tyres this season and said that it was difficult initially to deal with the change in equipment and dynamics in the car but the team ensured that he grasped it all quickly.
He said that he considered former champions, McLaren as the team's main rivals and that Force India would try their best to score as many points as possible.
Sutil's teammate, Paul di Resta, who is touted as the next big thing in the sport also said that the team has beaten McLaren on different occasions this year and though they have lost points in the last few races, there is no reason why they cannot bounce back.
When asked about whether the two drivers were pressurised by the fact that there was no clear number 1 driver in the team, di Resta said that this was in fact, very positive for the team because what mattered was that the desired result be produced.
Sahara Force India finished a respectable seventh in the 2012 Formula One Constructors' Championship.
