Swabhiman Rally begins at Patna's Gandhi Maidan
The Swabhiman Rally began here on Sunday with RJD chief Lalu Yadav, JD (U) national president Sharad Yadav, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Shivpal Singh Yadav, brother of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav attending it.
The rally will also be attended by the Congress President Sonia Gandhi. She has however not reached Gandhi Maidan, where the rally is being held, as yet.
The rally is being attended by an estimated one lakh people.
In the wake of the upcoming elections, a grand alliance of the JD (U), RJD and Congress have organised the 'Swabhiman Rally' at Patna's Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
