A Swansea City fan has revealed that he is willing to swim across the channel if the club's newly appointed manager Garry Monk stays on until the end of his contract.
Monk has been offered a three-year contract this week after impressing during a spell as interim boss, but the James Hammett Burke is so confident that the Brit would be long gone before the end of his contract that he has confirmed that he would swim the channel if the manager stays on.
According to Metro.co.uk, James Hammett Burke posted on Twitter publishing the confirmation that he would swim the huge distance between Shakespeare Cliff to Cap Gris Nez if Monk is able to stay till the end of his contract.
However, the fan is insisting that he will not take to the water until 2017, whatever happens, but he has probably signed a binding document to show his intention, the report added.
